About Carlton
Carlton brings nearly a decade of legal experience and a client-first mindset to his work at Michael & Associates. A graduate of Texas Christian University and Texas A&M University School of Law, Carlton began his career in family law, where he gained a deep understanding of the emotional and relational dynamics that often overlap with criminal cases — especially those involving domestic violence. This early foundation shaped his compassionate and strategic approach to advocacy, and it continues to influence his service to clients today.
Before joining Michael & Associates, Carlton worked at one of the largest criminal defense firms in the country. During his time there, he sharpened his trial skills, handled a wide range of complex cases, and even managed one of the firm’s offices — experience that strengthened both his leadership and his ability to guide clients through high-stakes situations.
Carlton is committed to securing the best possible outcomes for his clients while delivering the firm’s signature white-glove service.
