About Michael
A native Texan, Michael attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis, where he gained his first experience with the criminal justice system through the school’s indigent defense clinic. As soon as Michael stepped inside a criminal courtroom, he knew he wanted to commit his life’s work to helping those facing the harsh and unreasonable consequences of our legal system. Beginning then as a student, his work ethic earned him the opportunity to learn under some of the most renowned trial attorneys in America. From St. Louis, Washington, D.C., and all across Texas, he has never stopped yearning to work among the very best.
Michael became licensed in 2016 and immediately went to work for the largest criminal defense firm in Texas, where he remained until 2024. He then spent a year at one of the best boutique defense firms in Dallas. Michael is thrilled to join Michael & Associates in 2025 to continue working alongside some of the most experienced and respected trial attorneys in Texas and with the resources of a large firm to go toe-to-toe with the State for every single client.
