Allegations

The client reached out after a dispute with another person turned physical and police opened an assault case. He reported being hit first with a modem, after which both parties fought. Weeks later the complainant changed the story, newly alleging our client used a bottle. We collected text messages and other communications showing their ongoing contact and the shifting narrative, and highlighted evidence of mutual combat and self defense. Faced with those credibility issues, the prosecutor dismissed the case.
