Born and raised in southwest Louisiana, Sarah graduated with honors from Sam Houston State University before earning her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law.
While in law school, Sarah began building her courtroom experience as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic, where she represented clients in both misdemeanor and felony matters. Her work earned her the prestigious Clifford Brown Award in 2015, recognizing excellence in criminal defense advocacy.
Sarah started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Jasper County, Texas, where she prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanor offenses and represented the Department of Family and Protective Services.
In 2018, Sarah joined the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office, where she spent years defending clients against criminal charges at all levels. During her tenure, she handled thousands of cases and built substantial jury trial experience, advocating for clients in high-stakes situations where outcomes matter most.
Today, Sarah focuses exclusively on criminal defense, drawing on her background as both a prosecutor and a public defender to identify weaknesses in the State’s case and build strategic, evidence-driven defenses. Her experience in Texas courtrooms allows her to guide clients through complex legal situations with clarity, preparation, and a strong commitment to protecting their rights.
