I'm a 66 year old professional visual artist. On the side of my artistic work I've been a City of Dallas Friends of Feral Cats Community volunteer for the past 16 years plus many other charity work.
I was arrested, injured and disabled for the rest of my life by the Rowlett, Texas police officer for trespassing and feeding a few feral cats in an open grass field by the QT gas station and Crash Champion Collision who made the charges against me.
However many other volunteers and people in my neighborhood around there fed those friendly cats too.
After my arrest I contacted my attorney friend Mr. Paul Dell and he recommended me to his friend attorney Mr. Todd Rash at Michael and Associates. Then Michael and Associates assigned me with Senior Trial Attorney Mr. Clifford Duke to handle my case. In the meanwhile during the one year wait for my case to be called by the court Michael and Associates legal assistant Ms. Sheila Jimenez who truly is wonderful and caring was in regular monthly report and communication with me.
I personally had a good experience with Michael and Associates team and do recommend them.
Because of my injury caused by the Rowlett police officer who arrested and handcuffed me and he tore my right shoulder rotator cuff muscle leaving me with permanent disability which sadly I can't paint or do any work anymore, as well as I've been going through cancer and chemotherapy treatments since few months before my arrest to this day Mr. Duke allowed me not to come to the court for my trial. Mr. Duke kindly handled the situation himself at the court and gave me the good news of dismissal of my case by the judge. I can't thank Mr. Clifford Duke and Ms. Sheila Jimenez enough for all they did for me. Thank you so much again.
