When the matter was later referred and filed, we coordinated a controlled surrender to avoid a surprise arrest and kept pressing the DA with the mitigating facts. The State ultimately dismissed the case.

We challenged the legality of the search, the weak nexus tying the bag to our client, and bodycam footage showing the client away from the vehicle.
